There are plenty of bicycling routes in Zeeland that will let you experience that "wow" effect. In addition, you don't have to be an expert cyclist to see some of the province. For instance, you can discover the Watersnoodroute. This route shows you a number of impressive parts of Schouwen–Duiveland. Who follows the route will come across the places where, in 1953, the emergency flood drained. From Oesterdam Resort you cycle to Bruinisse. From there you continue the route through Sirjansland, Dreischor, Nieuwerkerk, Ouwerkerk, Zonnemaire, and you finish in Noordgouwe. A route not only to learn about the province, but also her historys.

Another fun, and somewhat shorter route is perfect to discover in two hours' time the history of Tholen. During this route you pass several traditional farms on the island of Tholen, where you cycle through the village by the same name, as well as through Sint Philipsland. Information is available on the display signs located at each farm. Start in Tholen, a short distance from Oesterdam Resort, and continue through Oud–Vossemeer, Sint Philipsland, Anna Jacobapolder, Stavenisse and Sint–Maartensdijk. The finish on this route is located in Sint Annaland. Don't forget to take a look at the beautiful marina there.

Bicycling enthusiasts who wish to have an afternoon of fun can discover the west side of Zeeland. For instance, from Oesterdam Resort you can pay a visit to Natuurgebied De Pluimpot, which will take you 75 minutes round trip. Start at Vakantiepark Oosterschelde and cycle west in the direction of Nieuw–Strijen. To get to Natuurgebied De Pluimpot, for the most part you can cycle alongside the Oosterschelde. On the way, you can stop in the cozy village of Westkerke to have a seat on one of the terraces and enjoy an ice cold drink. After getting back on your bicycle, in 7 minutes you will be surrounded by beautiful nature. This will be an excellent place to spot birds, so don't forget to bring your camera or binoculars.

Another possibility is to head towards Noord–Beveland, which round trip will take you a little less than 6 hours. Cycle from Tholen to Bruinisse, then leave Kapelle and Zierikzee behind you. From there, cross the Zeelandbrug to arrive in Kortgene and Colijnsplaat. Noord–Beveland is know for its dykes, from which you have a view over the Oosterschelde and the Veerse Meer. Take a look behind the dykes and you will enjoy breathtaking swamp areas.
